Between August 2024 and July 2025, Project Recovery and Serenity Paws has profoundly transformed the lives of  pet owners who need our service by providing comprehensive support that addresses both their and their pets' needs. Our program successfully served 18 individuals, boarding 21 pets, and funding vital veterinary care, including vaccines, medical treatments, and 11 spay/neuter procedures, ensuring healthier lives for the animals.
Additionally, we offered critical services such as training, transportation, and life skills workshops, which assisted six owners in securing housing and employment. For highly motivated individuals taking employment opportunities with Serenity Paws, we provided tailored support, including life skills training, budgeting, shopping assistance, basic needs, peer counseling, employment support, rideshare services, ESA certifications, and housing support to facilitate smooth transitions into the community and sober living environments. These efforts collectively foster stability, improved well-being, and renewed hope within this underserved community.
